The Sanctuary features two art exhibits: the Wizard of Oz panels and the Metaphoria Murals. The exhibits introduce the study of the creative process as a scientific conflict resolution phenomenon, reflecting the unconscious as the common denominator of the social science disciplines: science epistemology of the unconscious, diagnostic categories of wellness, assessment that is therapeutic, and morality, as religions integrated as discoveries of the alternative ways of resolving conflict reconciled into the Moral Science.

Below we show a highlight of the sculptural trail, the Abrahamic Family, by Judith Brown, presenting three monumental patriarchs versus four diminutive matriarchs, and two big birds, the chicks or the concubines. The installation dramatizes the inequity between the genders capturing the unfinished business of religions in resolving power conflicts between the genders as defended by the three Abrahamic religions.

Welcome to the Museum of the Creative Process

Featuring five permanent art exhibits introducing the creative process as a scientific conflict resolution mechanism reflecting the unconscious. The Museum was established by Dr. Albert Levis, author of Conflict Analysis, The Formal Theory of Behavior.

The exhibits demonstrate The Formal Theory, bridging art and science, gaining insight into the human unconscious as a scientific mechanism, revamping our understanding of psychology and of religions as both founded on science. The scientific unconscious revamps psychology from a medical specialty into a pure psychodynamic science, the Science of Conflict Resolution, The Moral Science.

SPECIAL EVENT on columbus day weekend at the Wilburton Inn October 7—9

We are celebrating the publication of the seventh volume on the Formal Theory of Behavior: ‘THE MORAL SCIENCE PRIMER’.

The publication represents a major scientific breakthrough revamping psychology’s concepts of the unconscious as a scientific conflict resolution mechanism. revamping diagnostic categories as a wellness personality typology, and utilizing a self-assessment that is didactic, diagnostic and therapeutic. The Moral Science demystifies religions as generated by the conflict resolving unconscious and integrates them as having evolved as a dialectic continuum.

We are introducing the study of the Moral Science with three Emotional Education (EE) workshops facilitated by a series of guided tours of the museum’s art exhibits as spelled out in this weekend’s delivery.

Workshop Schedule:

October 7: 7.30-9.30, Opening Reception

Theory

Psychology as the Moral Science: The creative process is a scientific phenomenon that reflects the unconscious. Through measuring the creative process, we can understand the unconscious, and thus can totally rethink the concepts of psychology, including diagnostic categories, assessment, therapy, and morality.

Publications

Eight volumes, written Drs. Albert and Maxwell Levis, introduce the evolving research of the Formal Theory in its path to presenting psychology as the exact Moral Science.

No place like it on the planet. A must see! (and I’m hard to please) The Museum of the Creative Process at the Wilburton Inn in Manchester, VT provides a truly unique outing, the experience of which will remain with you and likely change the way you think about world history, religion, artwork, and your day to day behavior. It delves into the workings of the unconscious, using the history of religion to illustrate the common threads of different belief systems- pulling them together into a formal theory of conflict resolution. A breathtaking sculptural trail on the grounds of the inn takes you to a gazebo in which striking wall panels provide visual examples of the creative and scientific research Dr. Levis conducted over the course of his remarkable career. There is no other place like this anywhere. Dr. Levis’ theory and vision are progressive, refreshing, and truly impressive. If you are interested in the underlying workings of the human mind, art, religion, history, or storytelling this place is a must-see. It is an undiscovered treasure.
